but then too, ..."a tisket; a tasket; a green and yellow basket"...
sounds like it could easily be related...

Maybe the field mice have sore paws, so they need a ride in your basket.
They've probably had their little bells rung anyway; what with the head boppin' and all.
Probably lucky that a basket is ALL they need!!

If you ask what a tisket OR a tasket is.... I'm gonna offer you a buck to just go & take a nap! lol (& just never yÃ© mind about Little Bunny Foo-foo and what the hell field mice are doin' in the forest any 'ol way!!)

*** a paw-paw has GOT TO BE some sort of fruit-fruit that falls from a tree-tree.
(don't have any proof, but that's how I figure... lol)

I begin to think that everyone on this board went to take a dump and the hogs ate them!! Embarassed

You were right about paw-paws being a fruit, though. It turns out that a Paw-paw is a papaya!! Who would have thunk it??? Very Happy

Now, about that " tisket and tasket"...I'm guessing that they're made up words that rhyme with " basket". Sort of like......

" Here's to you and here's toad you!!"
" If I hadn't of met you, I'd never knowed you!! "

I was at a party in the piney woods....the white lightning was flowing that night ...oh....bout 40 years ago...when I hadn't learned better , yet ! Rolling Eyes

Incase you've never tried any...it doesn't mix with anything!! You just got to drink it staight...then chase it with some branch water...so you can get your breath back!! Talk about " chit-faced"...that's sure one way to get there! Now that I think on that night.... I wouldn't recommend anyone of any sense, trying it!! <shudder>
